Inpatient/Outpatient Anesthesia Services GPC presently provides all inpatient anesthesia at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA and Fayette Community Hospital in Peachtree City, GA. In addition, we provide outpatient anesthesia services for Northside Sandy Springs Surgery Center, Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic, Southern Orthopaedic Surgery Center at Fayette and Georgia Surgical Center on Peachtree.
The inpatient/ outpatient services provided include :
- Inpatient and Outpatient Anesthesia for General Surgery, Plastic Surgery,Gynecological Surgery, and Orthopedics.
- Anesthesia for Renal Transplantation
- Anesthesia for Neurological Surgery
- Anesthesia for Pulmonary Surgery
- Anesthesia for Vascular Surgery
- Anesthesia for Liver Transplantation
- Cardiovascular Anesthesia.
- Pediatric Anesthesia including MRI studies and radiation therapy
- Anesthesia for Complex Radiological Procedures including interventional procedures such as the TIPS procedure for transhepatic shunting in cirrhosis. We also provide consultation to the emergency room, intensive care unit and to the gastrointestinal endoscopy suite.

Obstetrical Anesthesia Services Our anesthesiologists provide 24-hour day/ 7-day week coverage for all obstetric services including epidural analgesia. We work closely with your obstetrician, midwife and obstetric nurse to make sure that you have the safest and most pleasant experience possible. We meet with all the childbirth classes to discuss issues related to anesthesia. Transesophageal Echocardiography Service This service is offered by our Division of Cardiac Anesthesiology on a consultative basis in conjunction with the Department of Cardiology. We have several physicians who are trained and certified in the placement of transesophageal echocardiographic probes and interpretation of transesophageal echocardiographic data. Dr. Gary Stolovitz is the division head. His group is available for consultation by contacting the cardiovascular anesthesiologist on call.
